Maternity Services

Welcome to Armadale Hospital’s Maternity Services where about 2,400 babies are born each year.

We’re proud to offer compassionate, high-quality care for women and their babies. Our dedicated team of obstetricians, paediatricians, midwives, and nurses is ready to support you through your pregnancy, birth and beyond. Whether you're planning your first birth or growing your family, we provide a range of birthing options.

Who can use our services?

To receive maternity care at Armadale Hospital you need to: 

 

  • Live in these postcodes 
  • Be referred by your general practitioner or Privately Practising Endorsed Midwife.
  • Refer yourself using this link.

We encourage you to:

  1. Be part of the conversation and involved in shared decision making
  2. Ask questions if someone is not clear
  3. Speak up if you have concerns

 

Referrals

We accept referrals from GPs and Privately Practising Endorsed Midwives by email to akg.referrals@health.wa.gov.au.

Send the completed referral form and a copy of the patient's pregnancy booking blood results, dates, first trimester screening and anatomy scan.

High-risk or urgent referrals

For patients requiring an appointment within seven days, contact the Antenatal Clinic Coordinator directly on 9391 2901.
