Volunteering
Volunteers make an important contribution to our hospital and to the lives of our patients and their families.
The following volunteer groups are based at Armadale Health Service:

- Front of House Volunteers

How to become an AKG Volunteer
To be a volunteer of Armadale Health Service, you will:
- need to be over the age of 18
- download and complete the AKG Volunteer Application Form and email to AKGVolunteers@health.wa.gov.au
- be required to attend mandatory training and induction prior to commencing
- be required to undergo employee screen checks (which may include Working with Children checks, Aged Care Criminal Screening Check, Health Screening, Criminal Record Screening)
- attend an interview
- be required to have immunisation records up to date. You may be able to access these via MyHealthRecord or your regular GP
- be able to commit to at least one five-hour shift per week for a minimum of twelve months.
Please note we do not facilitate clinical / allied health university work placements. If you wish to arrange a work placement to meet study requirements, please contact studentplacement.ahs@health.wa.gov.au.
