Auxiliary

Auxiliary

The Armadale Health Service Auxiliary provides a range of amenities to staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.

The Armadale Health Service Auxiliary began in 1947 and remains an integral part of our volunteering service. During this time, they have helped raise more than $2.13 million to enable the hospital to purchase equipment, maintain facilities and provide better services for patients. They provide a range of amenities to staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.

Auxiliary Kiosk

The Kiosk is situated at the hospital’s ground floor and sells a range of gifts, baby baskets, newspapers, magazines, books, flowers, beverages and confectionery. They also run a trolley service for patients on the wards. The profits from these retail outlets are reinvested back into the hospital.

The Kiosk’s opening hours are:

  • Monday to Saturday
    • 9am to 4pm
    • 5.30pm to 7pm
  • Sunday
    • 12pm to 4pm
    • 5.30pm to 7pm
  • Closed – Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.

The Auxiliary Group Inc now accepts EFTPOS for purchases over $5.

Volunteering with the Auxiliary

Volunteers will play an important role in our hospital’s operation.

They engage in a wide range of activities across our entire hospital.

If you are interested in volunteering, there are several ways you can help us.

For more information about joining the Auxiliary as a volunteer, please call 9391 1010.
