Auxiliary

The Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital (AKMH) Auxiliary provides a range of amenities to staff, patients and visitors to the hospital. 

The Auxiliary, which began in 1947 and continues to be run by volunteers, has helped to raise more than $1.6 million to enable the hospital to purchase equipment, maintain facilities and provide better services for patients.

Auxiliary Kiosk AKMH Auxiliary volunteers

The Auxiliary Kiosk is situated at the hospital’s ground floor and sells a range of gifts, baby baskets, newspapers, magazines, books, flowers, beverages and confectionary.

The Kiosk’s opening hours are: 

  • Monday to Saturday – 9.00am to 4.00pm and 5.30pm to 7.00pm 
  • Sunday – 12.00pm to 4.00pm and 5.30pm to 7.00pm 
  • Closed – Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
