Midwives paint the town purple

June 26, 2017

You’ll be excused for doing a double take at the midwives on Friday 23 June.

Midwives at Armadale Health Service (AHS) wore a purple bra outside their uniforms in an effort to raise funds for Western Australians affected by breast cancer.

“We’ve all had friends and family affected by breast cancer in some way,” Jodee said. “As midwives, we also want to acknowledge the important role breast care plays in a woman’s life.”

The midwives have set themselves a fundraising goal of $3,000.

Purple Bra Day is organised by Breast Cancer Care WA.
